An Introduction to Systemic & Family ConstellationsA One-Day Experiential Training
Saturday 13 June 2026
Clifton, Bristol
9:30am – 5:30pm
This one-day training offers a hands-on introduction to Systemic Constellations and the unseen relational dynamics that shape our work, relationships, and wider systems.
Systemic Constellations provide a practical way of understanding complexity. They reveal patterns that influence teams, leadership, families, and communities, often operating beneath the surface of everyday interactions.
The approach bridges the personal and professional worlds, helping us recognise how dynamics learned in our families often echo in how we lead, collaborate, and relate at work.
This training introduces the foundations of systemic practice through direct experience.
You will learn to recognise systemic influences, map relational dynamics, and develop embodied awareness of what may be seeking acknowledgement or change.
The day is practical, relational, and deeply human.
This workshop can be attended as a standalone training day, or as Day One of a two-day exploration of Systemic Constellations, followed by a full experiential constellation day on Sunday 14 June.
What are Systemic Constellations?
Family or Systemic Constellations is an experiential approach developed by Bert Hellinger.
It is based on the understanding that unresolved experiences in our family history do not simply disappear. They may continue to influence us through unconscious loyalties, symptoms, or repeating patterns in relationships, work, health, or life direction.
Constellation work makes these hidden dynamics visible.
Using people in the group as representatives, a constellation creates a living map of a situation. What is usually unseen can often be sensed and felt in the body, allowing new understanding, movement, and resolution to emerge.
This way of working is increasingly used in leadership, coaching, therapy, education, and organisational development.
What You’ll Experience
• A grounded introduction to the principles of Systemic Constellations
• Frameworks for recognising systemic influence in families, teams, and organisations
• Small-group experiential exercises exploring real situations
• Developing embodied awareness and relational presence
You may wish to explore a work relationship, team dynamic, client interaction, or a familiar personal or family pattern.
In guided breakout groups, participants use embodied awareness to gain new perspectives on a situation. Others may represent people, roles, or contexts involved, offering live feedback through their experience.
Participants often gain insight into:
• how they show up in relationships and collaboration
• how they are experienced by others
• what can shift when they take their place within a system

Testimonial
“Constellation work invites you to see patterns and beliefs from a third perspective, outside your own internal narrative, which can be incredibly liberating. It helps you gently de-personalise from your ‘stuff’ and opens up new ways of seeing and being with it.”
