Join our Introduction to Strings Workshop to introduce your child to the wonders of violin and cello! Since violins and cellos can be sized down for little hands and little bodies, many children can start learning these string instruments as young as 3 years old. In this 2 hour family workshop you and your child will learn more about the string family of instruments, parts of the violin/cello, some basic music theory, and even get a chance to play on violins and cellos. After this workshop, if you are interested in learning more you can join our teachers for weekly Private Lessons then join our Youth Strings Program group class to meet other families, build community, and learn to play as an ensemble. An adult caregiver (ex: parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.) must be in attendance with your child for the duration of the workshop.Spots are limited!
$25/child. All materials provided including instruments.
