A series of 4 workshops designed to give you the basics of this absorbing hobby. Tuesday September 16th, 23rd, 30th & October 7th, 1.30-3.30pm. Cost £120.00 including all materials. Maximum 4 people, must be booked in advance. We will spin on a range of different wheels so that you discover how each one works and which suits you best. We will use prepared combed tops and batts to spin both worsted and woollen, and will ply the singles you’ve made to create balanced wool. We will also use different plying techniques to create graduated and colourful wool. There will be opportunities to handle fleeces and card wool.
