Spend your morning learning what sourdough bread is, how to make/maintain a sourdough starter, and how to bake delicious artisan bread at home. During the workshop you will learn how to mix, fold, shape and prove the dough. You will be given your very own reusable oval banneton wicker proving basket to take home your sourdough loaf ready to be baked the next day. You will also make sourdough fougasse and rolls.
Make your own sourdough starter from scratch, with explanations on how to keep this alive and how to use in future loaves you make at home.
As a sweet treat, with the sourdough discards we will make sourdough blueberry muffins.
All equipment will be provided and you will leave with everything needed to produce sourdough at home, as well as detailed recipes. This is perfect for those with no previous experience in sourdough baking or those who would like to build on their knowledge of baking sourdough at home.
