Introduction to Soil Science - Big River Farms

Understanding basic soil science is very important for farmers of all experience levels and scales. Healthy soils build healthy plants and in turn lead to higher yields and lower pest pressure. This class will cover soil health principles and natural as well as human-affected aspects of soil structure and biology. Participants will leave with a basic understanding of how to read and submit a soil test.
