Learn how to use a sewing machine or refresh your knowledge and create a beautiful project with MAE studio.
Choose between a large choice of projects: A Handbag, a Set of 2 zippered small pouch , a Skirt or Short with elastic waistband , a Gathered Top .
This Introductory to Sewing class will also review all the steps to handle a sewing machine.
After completion of this class, you will confidently be able to:
- thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin.- feed the fabric through, sew in a straight line and turn corners.- explore the range of features and stitches on the machine.- troubleshoot common errors and be aware of them!- sew different types of seams- Use the pins, cutting your fabric properly- read patterns instruction of simple projects . Beginners are welcome !

Fabric and notions are in addition, ( we will recommend stores and a list of material at registration) Our studio carries all the material needed for the workshop , feel free to come shop our Circular Textile Store !
Please note that this workshop is for those aged 18 and over.
