This workshop is an introduction to basic screen-printing techniques using hand-cut stencils (masks) and water-based inks. Over 3 hours, each participant will learn the essentials of this quick and versatile medium and take home their own 2-colour print on paper in an edition of four. All equipment and materials are provided. BYO art smock, apron or muck-up shirt.
Facilitator Mark Westaway from Gumboot Graphics is a freelance graphic designer, artist and font designer who has had a 50+ year love affair with the medium of silk screen printing and is passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience to inspire others.
