Ever wanted to put ink to paper, or fabric?Join us at Yukonstruct on February 9th for an introduction to Do-It-Yourself screen printing hosted by screen printer Al Henry. Participants will have the opportunity to print their own designs on their choice of fabric or paper, practice printing techniques and learn how to print with a similar set up at home. A document created by the facilitator outlining each step of the process will also be provided.
For the purpose of this workshop, please submit a solid line design to [email protected] by February 2nd and feel free to ask any questions. Participants are also welcome to bring clothing to print on should they desire. Looking forward to screen printing together!
Closed-toed shoes are required. Wear well-fitting clothes that can get dirty. Safety glasses must be worn at all times in the shop. If you have your own or prescription Z87-rated eyewear, you are welcome to bring and use them but we will have safety glasses and overglasses on hand to lend.
