About this Event
We are pleased to announce a FREE training session for grant recipients of the Asylum Welcome grant and Community Cohesion Grants.
The training will be delivered by The Toy Library and has been quality assured either by the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Board (NCSCB) or by the Nottingham City Safeguarding Adult Board (NCSAB).
Please arrive at 9:00 for registration.
Who is this training for?: Paid members of staff or volunteers for organisations working with vulnerable children and young people, who need an introduction to safeguarding or refresher training. NB: It is advised that safeguarding training is updated every 3 years. Designated Lead persons will need to attend the separate session offered by The Toy Library
What will I learn from this training?:
- The nature of abuse in relation to children and young people and how to recognise it
- Where and how to report concerns
- Where to get further information and advice

You will receive a certificate of participation for each completed training session. Please note: we may not be able to issue certificates if participants arrive late or leave before the end of the session.
