About this Event
This half-day session will provide an introduction to research administration at Oxford. It will begin with an introduction to the policy and funding environment affecting research in the UK higher education sector. We will take a research project through each stage of the life cycle at Oxford, from the idea through to final reporting, highlighting the support offered to researchers, key units (and the linkages between them), procedures, systems and further opportunities to learn more.
It is an interactive session tracking the life of a research project (including the up and downs) with opportunities for questions, hypotheticals and group discussion. Speakers will include representatives from Research Services and Research Accounts.
The workshop will run four times this year.
- Thursday 18 April
- Monday 17 June
- Wednesday 11 September
- Wednesday 4 December
All workshops will take place in the ground floor Social Space, 5 Worcester Street, Oxford OX1 2BX. Please note, the next workshop is on Wednesday, 4 December.
