INTRODUCTION TO PLANT BATHS AND ASPERSIONS "Building spiritual immunity" Join Sondra Hamilton in this experiential workshop to support cleansing, offer protection and clear heavy energy.
About this Event

The spiritual baths and aspersions from the Yucatec Maya lineage work with the living elements of plants, water, sunlight, and prayer to support cleansing, protection and clear heavy energy from our field. In this experiential workshop, we work with the wisdom of plant allies to learn the spiritual uses of specific herbs, how to prepare herbal aspersions with clear intention, and how to consciously magnetize the life and energy we are calling in.

Participants are guided in working with prayer, presence, and plant spirit connection to support energetic clearing and alignment. This is an interactive, embodied experience held outdoors in nature, where participants will have the opportunity to both give and receive a spiritual bath in a supportive and sacred container. No prior experience is necessary—only openness and respect for the plants and the process.

Who is this class for?

This workshop is well-suited for healers, bodyworkers, ceremonial practitioners, and those on a spiritual path, as well as beginners.

This class is for anyone who feels called to work with plants as spiritual allies and is curious about earth-based practices for cleansing, renewal, and energetic alignment.

Those who are seeking too reconnect with ritual as a living practice.

What you'll learn?

  • The difference between sweet herbs and dispelling herbs
  • What is spiritual immunity and protective plants?
  • Learn to make plant baths (herbal aspersions)
  • When and why to take plant baths?

***Please bring a bathing suit, towel, scissors, and any aromatic plants from your garden if you wish. Plants and buckets will be provided.

Sondra works with the wisdom of the wild feminine and the elements of mother nature: the plants, stones, sacred mountains (Apus), thunder beings, lightening air, ether, fire, water and earth.

Sondra lived internationally for five years from 2018-2023 in Guatemala and Peru where she was immersed with the wildness of nature and indigenous teachers.
In 2010 Sondra traveled to Peru for the first time and that journey awakened her to a world of plants and her soul arrived home. In 2012 Sondra heard the calling from the plants once again and enrolled in a Plant Spirit Herbalism program in Denver, CO. with Herbalist Shelley Torgove and Estela Roman learning Curanderismo from Aztec and Mexican ancestral traditions.

She started to have a remembering process of healing others with plants and stones in previous lifetimes. This process led her to continue her studies in Peru working with master plants, the Apus (Mountains) and the elements. The energy of Peru guided Sondra to continue her plant journey at Herb Pharm and The Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine in Asheville, NC.
