Course information
Facilitated by the Christie PET-CT Academy team, this interactive workshop will ensure you have the understanding to confidently solve problems in a PET-CT service.
It will include a review of the topics covered in the e-learning (see prerequisites for details) before you will work in teams to find solutions to a variety of scenarios covering both clinical issues and radiation protection problems.
Intended Audience
Qualified radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists who are new to working in PET-CT. The course is not suitable for anybody with over 2 years' experience in PET-CT.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, you are required to undertake the Essentials of PET-CT e-learning module (access will be given upon confirmation of sign-up).
Team work and discussion will be promoted throughout the workshop. You will be required to have a laptop/computer that has in-built webcam and microphone. Please also ensure you have a quiet environment and reliable internet connection for you to be able to communicate clearly with the group.
