In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore the beauty of Islamic geometry, inspired by patterns such as those found in the Eastern lands.Using traditional tools - a pencil, compass and ruler - you'll begin by drawing an underlying grid, from which beautiful patterns will emerge. You'll learn how to extract patterns from the grid, transferring the design to create a larger composition, and finally paint the patterns to bring them to life.
No experience needed, just a fascination for patterns and colour!
