Introduction to Paddle-boarding

The Wanderlust Women have teamed up with Red Paddle Co, the world’s number one inflatable paddleboard brand. Designed in the UK, their award-winning products are sold in over 60 countries worldwide. Red Paddle Co’s guiding principle is performance without compromise to deliver the safest, most reliable inflatable SUPs in the world.

We are excited to host a day’s event paddleboarding along with a relaxation class, at the Anderton Centre, Chorley.

This event is designed to help you disconnect from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with your inner peace and spirituality. We hope you can join us for a day of renewal, reflection, and sisterhood.We would love to invite you to join us, exploring paddleboarding out on the lake for a day outdoors, to feel confident out on the water and to enjoy a relaxing stretch session to end the day. It is for anyone with all abilities, who wants to try out paddleboarding and have fun! We also have a Mindfulness Session with Amira, Start your day with a calming and centering mindfulness session led by Amira.

This session will include:

-Breathwork: Learn breathing techniques to enhance mental clarity and spiritual focus.

- Body Stretches: Engage in gentle stretches to prepare your body for the day's activities.

- Mindfulness Practices: Cultivate a deeper awareness and presence, helping you reconnect with your inner self.

As a token of our appreciation, each participant will receive a special goodie bag filled with items to support your mindfulness journey and make the day even more enjoyable.

We’ll kick off the day with a delicious breakfast, including tea, coffee, and a selection of pastries, to energize you for the day ahead.

Itinerary:

Meet at New Road, Anderton, Chorley, Lancashire PR6 9HG

9.30am – 12.30pm Relaxation stretch class with Amira followed by a deep meditation session and breathwork session. Amira will give a talk about her journey in the outdoors followed by a short film by The Wanderlust Women.

12.30pm – 1.30pm Lunch break and prayer ( bring your own lunch )

1.30pm – 3.30pm Paddle board session

Please note:

Communal showers are available to use along with an area to get changed privately.

What to bring:

• Kit for a stretch class
• Towel

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Once you have signed up, you will be sent an email to join a Telegram group. This will be created around a few days before the event.

If you are struggling with transport to the venue this can be discussed in the group with the possibility of car share dependant on the location of attendees.

Photography will be present so we will need your consent (or not) that you are happy (or not) to be filmed.
