About this Event
Orgasmic Meditation (OM) is a research-backed mindfulness practice with nine peer-reviewed studies published in scientific journals. Neuroimaging research at Thomas Jefferson University shows OM produces brain patterns consistent with meditation, not sexual activity. In this 15-minute structured practice, partners use focused attention techniques to create a meditative state that enhances wellbeing, resilience, and connection. Find out more about the practice here.
People who practice OM report enhanced emotional regulation, decreased anxiety, increased feelings of closeness, and access to flow states. Clinical trials have demonstrated OM can be safely taught to individuals with PTSD. OM offers a safe, structured space to explore attention-based practices that many find transformative. Read more about the science here.
Through the practice of OM, practitioners access states of awareness and presence that support healing, human flourishing and deeper connection.

"I've been to a lot of free courses and intros and this felt really safe and grounded. I really appreciated the set up of the container and the agreements. The facilitators felt very clear and held beautiful space."
— Melissa, 2025 Participant
"There, in that room, the layers of defendedness I've carried since childhood melted away and the next words that came were 'divine,' 'play,' and 'freedom.' The play of the divine."
— Rev. Laura Y., 2022 Participant
