Our cold water induction talks will run throughout the winter months and are a great way to gain an understanding of swimming in cold water. The talk will include information about safety, acclimatisation, winter swim kit, self monitoring and recognising warning signs in others, post swim recovery and what to do in an emergency. We will also look at the health benfits, why people do it and we encourage discussion. For those new to the lake you will go away equipped with the information you need to decide if it is an activity you want to do.
