This relaxed, hands-on workshop introduces you to the ancient craft of creating colour from plants. You’ll explore how to extract, prepare, and apply natural dyes using traditional, kitchen and foraged materials — and even learn the basics of indigo and overdyeing.
Over six hours of guided tuition, Claudia (a natural dyer and retired teacher) will share her years of experience transforming fibres with natural colour, helping you understand both the science and the magic behind the process.
All materials and equipment are provided, including aprons, gloves, and printed handouts for you to take home. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available throughout the day — just bring along a packed lunch.
Spaces are limited to keep the group small and hands-on, so early booking is recommended.
