Mediumship is one of the ways humans have long listened, learned, and lived in relationship with the unseen world. It is not about leaving the body or traveling elsewhere, but about learning how to listen from right where you are.In this one-day experiential workshop, we explore mediumship as a grounded form of communication with Helping Spirits, compassionate Ancestors, and the living world around us. This work offers another doorway into spirit communication, one that can be especially supportive for those who do not find journeying to be an effective method of communication, as well as for journeyers who wish to expand the ways they listen and receive information.
Rather than sending a part of the soul into non-ordinary reality, mediumship invites us to remain fully present and aware while communication comes toward us through sensation, feeling, awareness, imagery, subtle knowing, and practices such as intuitive or automatic writing. These forms of listening allow information to move through the body and hands while consciousness remains present and grounded.
Many individuals are already mediumistic without realizing it. If you are sensitive to atmosphere, emotion, energy, or presence, or if you often “just know” things without knowing why, you may already be in quiet conversation with the unseen.
This workshop offers structure, language, and supportive practices to help bring clarity, discernment, and steadiness to those experiences.
No particular way of seeing, hearing, sensing, or receiving is required. The work meets you where you are and unfolds at a pace guided by respect and relationship.
