Introduction to Meditation Weekend Immersion

at True North Yoga
Join Paul and Naomi for a weekend of immersion into the heart through meditation. In this weekend workshop students will learn practical tools to begin a meditation practice as well as dive deep into the experience of meditation, reflection and discernment. Beginning to meditate with a group can help with resolve and provide support.
The weekend will be experienced in silence with Naomi and Paul providing guidance, meditations, meditation techniques, philosophy talks (dharma talks) and answering questions. The intention for silence is to lovingly guide students into the awareness of the background of silence as true nature.
The weekend will introduce multiple meditation techniques including:
Open minded heart based meditation
Visualization meditation
Silent Dharana meditation
Walking meditation
Neti Neti meditation
Yoga Nidra meditation
and more
Students will explore the larger questions such as "who am I" or "what am I" through loving awareness and compassion. Take a break from a loud and busy world and feel what it's like to retain your energy as you move your awareness inward. Join us for this special time of moving into the background of silence and stillness and into the heart. We hope that you will join us.
Cost: $150 (includes daily yoga class)
Hours: Saturday 9:30-4PM and Sunday 9:30-3PM
