Historical European Martial Arts is a rapidly growing martial arts community, which takes historical books and manuscripts and uses them to form the basis of a study into different weapon systems.
Coventry Longpoint mainly looks at German Longsword from the1300 to the 1600s , and this course will give you a good grounding on the basic techniques, tactics and practices of this fun and engaging art.
We'll be looking at work from Joachim Meyer, Andre Paurenfeyndt, The Codex Wallerstein, and Johannes Liechtenauer.
The course is £25 for the four weeks, which covers hall, kit, instruction and insurance. You'll need to wear suitable clothing for sports, trainers and bring water. There are limited spaces so please book.
