Hello Friends! In the midst of this wonderfully needed storm we are announcing our first class of the year!On Saturday, March 1st, we will be hosting an introduction to tinctures workshop. This workshop will start with a leisurely stroll along Idlewild park to collect our plant material while also going over some introductory tree ID. We will end at a nearby home (or just hang in the park depending on the weather) where we will cover a basic overview of tinctures, their uses and how to make them! Each person will go home with their own Hawthorne Heart Tincture and ideally an inspiration to continue creating their own medicine from the plants around them.
This field trip location has great accessibility and we will be on level cement and grass the entire trip.
We will meet at the Gazebo in Idlewild at the corner of Cowen and Idlewild Dr. (1450 Idlewild Dr, Reno, NV 89509). We will start promptly at 9am and the class will run until approximately 11am. Please dress warm as we will be outside most of the time and the weather forecast is on the cool side.
Cost is a $20 recommended donation (to help pay for supplies); however, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please reach out if cost is a barrier.
