I am happy to invite you to a workshop on Sunday, October 26th!!!!!This workshop is in-person, and it is open to everyone who wants to learn and is respectful of the Curanderismo tradition.
Workshop name: Introduction to Mayan Curanderismo and how to perform a ceremony of energy cleansing in the Mayan ways.
I am teaching this class in the way that I learned. I was taught in the old ways; this means by oral tradition and tons of practices. I learned this from my mentor in the place where I grew up in Mexico (The Yucatan Peninsula). By the way, he is still alive, and I have his consent to teach this class.
These ways are not what you find in books, by historians or anthropologists. These ways are the ones that are still practiced in these modern times and have been passed from mentor to apprentice. As you guys know, I don’t teach this type of class very often.
You will learn the basics regarding setting up an altar and calling the spirits in the Mayan Ways. Also, you will learn how to remove negative energy by performing a ceremony named Rameada.
Rameada is a cleansing way to remove negative energy and restore balance to our lives. We do this with the help of branches that are prepared for this purpose.
If you are a fan of books and codices, this is not a class for you. This class is for those who are interested in learning what is still practiced, that is ancient, and it is NOT books, Zooms, or social media.
