In this workshop you will learn why market research is important, different research techniques and how to use powerful database tools.

With market research you can:

• Prove there is a genuine market for your product or service
• Learn what trends are affecting your market sector
• Discover who your customers are
• Identify and understand your competitors .

In this workshop we will demonstrate a variety of online databases, including COBRA, Mintel, IBISWorld and Statista.

You will also have the opportunity to put these skills into practice in our Tech Studio supported by the BIPC Librarians.
