Mantrailing is a sport where dogs learn to find people who are hidden by following their unique scent trail. It is different from tracking in that the dog is free to use all their senses to find the person who is always hidden at the end.In this 3 hour introductory workshop, the instructor, Kamrin Macknight, will provide an overview of the sport, practice short trails with intensity starts and intensity trails, practice longline management, and start teaching each dog to scent a scent article.
Kamrin is a highly qualified dog trainer, and in addition to being an AKC and ASCA Tracking Judge, is also one of two Mantrailing Global instructors and the only assessor in California. You will be learning from the best!
