During the session, Laura and Liz will introduce you to a quick history of macrame, share some of their favourite projects to give you some crafting inspiration and walk you through the basic principles with step by step tutorial of a selection of macrame knots so you can have a go for yourself! They will share their experience of finding the right cord for your project and top tips for equipment and tools to help you along the way. Finally you will put your knowledge to good use as you make a macrame keyring or feather!
No experience needed. Suitable for beginners. Seasoned crafters also welcome.

Laura and Liz from Create Your Happy have been Coopers in the High Wycombe Eden Craft Coop for over a year, selling their DIY craft kits. They also run regular local crafting workshops, with the focus being on taking some time out to make something lovely - there are so many benefits to getting creative and crafting together a lovely way to connect with others!
