Human Design is a new system that synthesizes and updates information from Astrology, the I Ching, Chakras, and physics to provide insights into your energy dynamics, decision-making strategy, wisdom potential, and purpose. It is a roadmap of each person’s unique design – encouraging self-discovery, self-acceptance, self-love, and authenticity.
The main purpose of this class is to introduce you to the human design system and help you decode some of the information in your own chart – while also appreciating the uniqueness of others.
Specifically, we will address:
• Conscious/Personality and Unconscious/Design information (those squiggles, glyphs, & numbers)
• Learning/style profiles
• Individual, personal, best inner decision-making approach
• Aura type based on which energy centers are ‘defined’ (lit up/colored)
• Opportunities to develop boundaries & become more wise-discerning (open centers)
• Electromagnetic gates & energy channels – always active and those activated by transits, encounters
* In this class we will look at sample charts to understand the Human Design System. While this class will not focus on any individual’s chart, many participants like to engage with their own chart during the class.
If you would like to do that, prior to coming to this class, feel free to go online and search “Human Design – Free Chart” – enter in the required information (your birth date, time, and location) – download and print your chart with the associated (astrological) symbols to the right and left of the diagram. Dr. Robin is a naturally interdisciplinary educator and coach — bringing together and synthesizing ideas from her wide-ranging interests and experiences. She has formal education and training in a number of esoteric and psychological systems. She is known for her ability to synthesize complex information, simplify it into usable nuggets, and share those with compassionate clarity to her clients, program participants and students.
She earned her doctorate in Organizational Behavior from Harvard with an award-winning dissertation on diversity, work-life balance and empowerment. Her other degrees are in International Relations and World History from Brown University, and Psychology from Harvard. She designs, develops, and directs multicultural leadership development programs.
Recently she completed three on-line learning programs - Trust, Soft Skills (for managing people), and Living Your Values.
