Weaving with harakeke native flaxLocal weaver Ara Swanney will teach about harvesting and preparing harakeke (native flax) into strips ready to weave. The class will then weave their choice of a simple basket (konae) or flower (putiputi).
• What - 2 hr workshop
• When - 11am-1pm on Tuesday 16 September 2025
• Where - St Marks, 98 Rāwhiti Road, Pukerua Bay (opposite school)
