If you've ever had tea at a Chinese-style teahouse, you might have noticed they make tea with an interesting array of tea equipment. What's going on? What is it all for? And does it really result in better tasting tea?
This is a beginners workshop to help you understand some of the principles of gongfu cha so you can then practice on your own, including different grips for traditional gaiwans (lidded cups).
We will finish with a gongfu tea journey that illustrates the elements we have learnt.
