Are you a LGBTQ+ leader who wants to improve their fundraising skills? Jonathan Meagher-Zayas will host “Introduction to Fundraising for LGBTQ+ Leaders” on May 31st from 6 to 8 PM at the Rochester Rainbow Union!
During the workshop, you’ll learn the basics of funding development, fundraising, and resource mobilization while building relationships with a shared purpose. We’ll dive into what people think about fundraising, discover different strategies you can fundraise, and discover ways to implement ideas in your organization.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll:
• Understand the personal experience with philanthropy and
how that impacts fundraising
• Learn why donors give and the various ways you can engage
them to build support
• Create your own philanthropic case for support for your
organization
To register: bit.ly/FNDR
This will be a pay-what-you-can, rather than a set fee to participate. Jonathan has graciously offered to donate them to the Rochester Rainbow Union.
