Introduction to foundation piecing.Foundation Piecing is a method of patchwork piecing that uses a paper or fabric foundation to stabilize a quilt block during construction. When using a paper foundation, the paper is removed from the block either at the completion of the block or at the completion of a quilt top.
Over the 1 day session, Pat will take you through the process of foundation piecing.
During the class, we will use 'foundation piecing' to make a butterfly and then turn this into a cushion cover.
