$Introduction to Flameworking: Recycled Wine Bottle Beads \u2013 September 27$

This beginner workshop in our air-conditioned flameworking studio will use recycled glass to hand craft glass beads to decorate or adorn. Students can bring their own empty bottles (thoroughly cleaned with labels removed) to be processed and used to create the simple glass beads. Turn trash to treasure, literally! No experience with flameworking is necessary, but any skill level can be accomodated. We have equipment that can be used to aid those with hand limitations or circulation issues, etc. to help make this as approachable as possible, and help from the instructor will be available to everyone during the workshop. Everyone should make multiple pieces and our focus will be on quality and building a fun and enriching relationship with the glass material as we go.
Students under the age of 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian.
