Introduction to Embroidery Workshop

We are really excited to get back in the studio and welcome back Leeds based textile artist and teacher Elnaz Yazdani for a beginners embroidery workshop.

You will be guided through a variety of beautiful hand embroidery techniques and stitches using an array of different coloured threads to create your own unique piece of thread art.

Included in your ticket is your very own embroidery kit including hoop, threads, needles and fabric and all the stitches you learn you can apply to any cloth, item of clothing or accessory so you can carry on stitching beyond the workshop. 

Embroidery is also a great way to keep calm and reduce stress levels so come and enjoy the meditative wonders of the process of embroidery here at our lovely textile studio.

We've put some extra social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe and calm without compromising your experience. Luckily we have a lovely big, airy space so there is plenty of room to social distance and we have put the following measures in place:

* All Materials will be individually packaged for you in your own kit

* Sanitising stations on entry and exit of all spaces

* Extra cleaning and hygiene measures in place

* Smaller class sizes and socially distanced workspaces on tables

* Hot drinks will be served in disposable cups or you are welcome to bring your own drink or reusable cup.

* We recommend bringing a face covering with you in case of any instance in which you feel you cant social distance, however it is not compulsory to wear one. Masks and visors are available for all of our staff to do the same.

* Please do not attend a workshop if you have experienced any symptoms of Covid 19 in the last 14 days or have been in contact with anyone else who has had symptoms.

* If this workshop needs to be cancelled due to covid related government guidelines it will be postponed to a later date or a gift voucher will be issued to be used against future workshops.

These measures adhere with current government guidelines but we will keep them updated.

This is a beginners workshop and all levels welcome. This workshop can also be purchased as a gift certificate.
