About this Event
(Please note: This is a two-session workshop — Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Wednesday, Oct. 29, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night.)
Join us for a two-evening beginner workshop and discover why canasta has been a favorite card game for generations! Played with four people in partnerships, the goal is to score points by melding cards — and the real fun comes from the teamwork, strategy, and friendly competition along the way.
This is a two-part class: On the first night, you’ll learn the basic rules of canasta and get comfortable with the flow of the game. On the second night, you’ll review key concepts, practice strategies, and play with your partner and other beginners.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be ready to start forming your own canasta group and enjoy this fun, social card game with friends!
No experience necessary — just bring a willingness to learn and play.
This workshop is open to players ages 18 and older.
