About this Event
This class is perfect for absolute beginners, those looking to improve their penmanship and anyone who's interested in exploring a new form of art in a relaxed and fun environment. We'll cover the basic of modern calligraphy, show you how to connect letters and form your own words by tracing and free-handing throughout the class. You'll walk away with enough knowledge to use your brush markers properly and start developing your own style.
Class includes 2 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s workbook, metal nibs with different flexibilities, ink, tracing paper, a pen holder and an assortment of paper. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the class!
You are welcome to bring refreshments and class is recommended for ages 13 and up.
*Please note that A Handful Of Letters has a minimum class size of 7 participants. In the event the minimum class size is not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class in which case all tickets will be refunded.
In the event that we need to cancel due to sickness or an emergency, registered participants will be offered a full refund to their original method of payment or a credit for a future class.
If a registered participant cannot attend a class, they must notify A Handful Of Letters at least 48 hours prior to class date to receive a refund. If a registered participant cannot attend and does not notify us and/or no shows for the class, the registered participant forfeits all rights to any monies paid and no refund will be provided.
