A coach led introduction to the exciting sport of BMX racing for 5-16 year olds.Join British Cycling certified coaches at Ipswich BMX Club’s Landseer Park track as they guide new riders from the start gate, over the jumps and across finish line!

Criteria for participation: All participants must be competent cyclists and be able to ride unaided standing up for 50m.
They should appropriately dressed by wearing a long sleeve top, full length trousers and trainers.

Sessions will be limited to a maximum of 10 riders.
It would be preferable if participants could use their own bikes and equipment. Bikes must be in good working order; a mountain bike or a BMX bike with no pegs and at least one brake are suitable.
A full face helmet and long fingered gloves are mandatory.
Ipswich BMX Club has a limited number of helmets and bikes in various sizes that may be borrowed if required. Please note these may have to be shared if demand is high.
This will be an action packed 90 minute sporting session; as such riders will need to bring their own water/drink in order to stay hydrated.
