In this workshop, you will learn how to make and carve your very own print! Block printing is a process in which a design is carved into a block and then used to stamp with ink onto paper. You will learn the basics of block printing and be able to take your own carving and prints home that you’ve made yourself! No experience is required, we have a design already prepared for you (or you can draw your own if you’re feeling adventurous!).
( If you would like to carve your own drawing, please bring it with you to class and have it scaled to 4"x6".)
We will be using oil based inks so please make sure you are wearing clothes that can get messy or bring an apron with you. Come learn the magic of printmaking!
