At its core, Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old science, a holistic tradition and a way of living that can help each of us to claim and celebrate our capacity for wellness. Another Vedic science, often called Ayurveda’s sister science is Yoga. All Vedic sciences are primarily teachings for the development of full human physical, mental and spiritual potential.Ayurveda encourages you to be an active participant in your own journey toward healing. This involves learning about your relationship with the five elements (ether, air, water, fire, earth) and the unique combinations they create called doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), which we will explore in this workshop!
You will discover your Prakriti (Constitution) and we will look at Vikriti (Imbalance) as the doshas move within the body.
We will also discuss our seasonal cleanse being offered for the first time and will taste Kitchari, a tridoshic balancing food. Join us for a fun and informative afternoon!
