Are you looking to deepen your practice and gain a more detailed understanding of Ashtanga yoga? Our Ashtanga Immersion course is designed for anyone who has been practicing yoga but is new to Ashtanga or for those who have been practicing Ashtanga and would like to dive deeper into their practice.
?WHAT IS THE COURSE ABOUT?
This 3-week course is designed to offer an in-depth perspective of the Ashtanga method beyond just the physical practice. Led by experienced ashtanga teacher, our 5 masterclasses will take you through the intricacies of the Ashtanga practice. You'll learn about asana alignment, correct breath and energy locks, and philosophy that can be applied to everyday life.
?WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE?
The 3- week course consists of 5 masterclasses which will be held on Saturdays & Sundays 2:00pm – 4:00pm (120minutes) and will consist of 2 parts: a 45-minute theory class and 75-minute practical session. The practice part entails asana, breathing, alignment, concentration and meditation.

?PRE & POST-COURSE STUDY?
Participants will be required to study the part of the manual each week which will be covered in the masterclass. There will be no homework but some suggested reading material which is incremental to the course and subject to the discretion and time management of the student.
?COURSE LOCATION?
This course will be held at Yoga House Studio in Intercontinental Dubai Marina Studio. The space is purpose built for yoga practice, and fully equipped with everything you need.
