Join us for an exciting introduction to dog agility where you and your best friend will explore the fundamentals of this thrilling sport!This 4 week session is designed to enhance your dog's body awareness and responsiveness while introducing them to basic agility equipment on a small scale.
What You'll Learn:
Body Awareness Exercises: Help your dog develop better body awareness through fun and engaging exercises tailored to their level.
Introductory Agility Equipment: Get hands-on experience with scaled-down agility obstacles such as tunnels, jumps, hoops, planks and tippy boards, utilizing training techniques designed to build confidence in both you and your dog.
Following Handler Cues: Learn effective communication techniques as your dog practices following your body and voice cues, fostering teamwork and trust.
Off-Leash Skills Around Distractions: Teach your dog to work off-leash while navigating distractions, preparing them for real agility challenges in a controlled environment.
Whether you're a beginner curious about agility or looking to strengthen your bond with your canine companion, this 4 week series provides a supportive environment to learn and have fun together.
No previous agility experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to explore new adventures with your dog!
*This event requires dogs to be in the same space. If your dog can be reactive to other dogs please reach out to discuss.
When : Saturday November 23rd, 30th, December 7th & 14Th
Level 1 - 12:00 - 1:30pm - for dogs 4 months and up who are trying agility for the first time
Level 2 Morning Session - 10:00 am to 11:30am - for dogs who have participated in one of our other workshops
Level 2 Afternoon Session - 1:45 pm to 3:15pm - for dogs that have taken level 1
Location: The Orange Hall - 387 Ontario St. Cobourg ( corner of University & Ontario)
Cost : $225 + hst = $254.25
