Join us for a welcoming Introduction to Aerial Yoga, a 90min gently empowering session designed to help you explore movement, stretch and rest using soft fabric hammocks. This class is ideal for beginners, those new to aerial yoga, or anyone curious to experience yoga from a different perspective in a safe and supportive environment.
Aerial yoga uses suspended hammocks to partially or fully support the body, helping to reduce pressure on the joints while encouraging greater freedom of movement. With the support of the fabric, poses can feel more accessible, allowing you to build strength, improve mobility and explore gentle inversions with confidence and ease. The practice can feel both grounding and uplifting, offering a unique blend of stability, lightness and play.
This session will be led by Neil, an experienced and intuitive teacher who brings a calm, supportive and inclusive approach to his classes. Neil will guide you step by step, offering clear instructions, modifications and reassurance throughout, so you can move at your own pace and feel fully supported in the hammock.
The session will include:
- A gentle warm-up to prepare the body
- Supported stretches and simple aerial postures
- Opportunities to build strength and confidence safely
- Time to rest, relax and reconnect with your body
No previous aerial yoga experience is required. This session is suitable for most levels of fitness, and you are encouraged to listen to your body and take breaks whenever needed.
