Introduction to Abstract Art taught by Amber Lee
Explore the mysterious world of abstract art in this engaging introductory course!
Together we will challenge our perceptions while practicing skills and techniques that tap into our inner creativity.
Through discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises you will gain an understanding of basic concepts of abstract art’s developments and artistic processes.
We will work towards 2 main projects that focus on intuitive and intentional design ideals. You will also delve into the lives of influential abstract artists and let their works inspire your own creations.
We will have an “open studio” experience, where you are free to move within the space and work alongside other artists in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Supplies List:
Mixed Media or Watercolor Paper Pad
Any mediums of your choice: Acrylic or watercolor paints, paint markers, pens, pencils.
Paint brushes
