Introducing the OWASP Transparency Exchange API

Welcome to the OWASP Transparency Exchange API event!

Join us online to learn all about the Transparency Exchange API developed by OWASP. This event is for product managers, developers and open source projects building solutions for management of SBOMs and much more artefacts.

Customers of hardware and software products need to be able to get access to documents from vendors in an automated way. New regulations are being developed world wide that require vendors to interact with upstream Open Source projects as well as commercial vendors in new ways, including the exchange of SBOMs and vulnerability information.

OWASP project Koala is working on the Transparency Exchange API, a standard for publishing, discovering and retrieving transparency artefacts with or without authentication. This API will be standardised in ECMA TC54. While the Koala project is part of CycloneDX, the work with the API will also support SPDX BOM files from start.
