Bread baking can seem very overwhelming but Alyssa hopes to introduce you an approachable way to baking using sourdough. During this 2 hour workshop, we will discuss caring for the sourdough starter, kneading, proofing, fermentation and baking. You will go home with 2 loaves to bake at home. We will discuss each loaf and the process in which they are in prior to baking. You will also get your own starter to continue to feed in use for future baking. What to bring:
- One mixing bowl 8-10" (glass, ceramic, or stainless)
- Spoon or spatula for mixing
- Clean cotton tea towel
- Food scale if you have one
