In this session we will be introducing Inktober, a month long creative challenge to develop positive drawing habits.Inktober is a yearly challenge created by Jake Parker back in 2009, and has become a well-known challenge amongst creatives. With a yearly prompt list, Inktober provides a framework to encourage being creative, having fun with your art, and improving your skill.
In this session, we will be using the Inktober 2025 official prompt list to create art. While Inktober started as using ink medium, there is no right or wrong way to Inktober. Ink will not be available to use at the session, however there will be a variety of alternative mediums for you to use, such as paint, pens and mixed media. If you have your own materials you would like to use, including ink, you are always welcome to bring them along.
