About this Event
The face-to-face educational session is based on a non-invasive option to manage the urine collection system for females and aims to increase knowledge among patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Attending this session it will assist you in understanding the impact of BD PureWick on skin issues, bedwetting issues, and issues associated with IAD.
Learning objectives / Topics covered:
- How to Set up the BD PureWick Urine Collection System
- Application and removal of the PureWick Female External Catheter
- Pure wick external urine collection system benefits and their impact on patient outcome
The session is divided into two sessions where the content will be the same but at two different timings:
Session 1 starts with lunch at 12.30 pm and ends at 2.15 pm as one registration workshop.
Session 2 starts with afternoon tea at 2.45 pm and ends at 4.15 pm as the second registration workshop.
Presenter Bio – Tamika Richardson
With guest presenter Tamika Richardson Global marketing manager at BD former US navy corpsman with over 20 years' experience in nursing. Tamika has dedicated the last 6 years to launching the BD PureWick™ Urine Collection System across the world.
