The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, a 2000-year old Yogic text, form the philosophical backbone of modern day yoga practice. In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will learn about the major ethical principles of Yoga, how to act morally in the world, how to cultivate self-control and how to deal with other people. This workshop will be mainly lecture and discussion but will conclude with a practice to integrate our studies and embody the theory we have explored. No experience is required; the practice will be an Align level practice.$45; YB annual and monthly members get 10% off. Recommended book to bring to this workshop: "The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Translation and Commentary by Sri Satchidananda". CE credits are available for Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga teachers.
