Intro to YogaExplore the fundamentals of yoga asana in this 4 week introduction to Yoga series. Each 60-minute class will break down 3-5 poses, focusing on alignment, using props and exploring modifications. There will be touches of yoga philosophy, history and pranayama (breathing techniques), however, the main focus of the series will be yoga poses. The classes will be taught in an open, supportive and conversational setting. Student's will be necouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson with the goal to bring more confidence to the student's practice.
This class is appropriate for all levels of yoga.
*Limited to 10 students to ensure adequate attention and instruction.
