About this Event
Get the basics on how to use the tools in our Wood Shop in this introductory class! Work on a simple project and pick up the necessary skills to work with our equipment safely. Attendees will build a cheeseboard that they will go home with!

- Table Saw
- Miter Saw
- Planer
- Belt and Disc Sander
- Finish Nailers
- Drill Press
Required gear: All clothing should be non-synthetic (cotton or canvas is recommended), Long pants, long or short sleeve shirt, boots or other closed toe shoes, hair-tie for long hair, safety glasses and hearing protection. We recommend you bring your own safety gear, but we have equipment on hand if you don’t have any.

Attendees who are not yet vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to wear a mask and social distance.
If you are sick or think you may have been exposed recently, please don't come!
This class needs a minimum of 3 attendees to run
Open to ages 16 and up (under 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian)
Registration closes 3 days before event.
Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before your event start date.
