In this beginners pottery class students will learn the basic fundamentals of centering clay on the potter’s wheel to create cylindrical forms including mugs, pitchers, vases, and more. Works can be trimmed and refined to create functional shapes which will be glazed upon completion.*Subsequent 4 week sessions will focus on how to create bowls, lidded forms, plates/platters and decorative techniques.
