1 event = 4 consecutive Saturday classes
Workshop cost includes use of a 2- and 4-shaft table looms, bow looms, inkle looms, weave-it/zoom looms, rigid heddle looms, card weaving, equipment, tools, and fibers for each weaver. In this 8-hour workshop over 4 consecutive Saturdays (March 22 to April12, 2025, 2 to 4 pm), handweaver Arlette Stawasz takes the beginning weaver through the different weaving methods on different looms with a little history of weaving.
Class 1: We will begin with learning about the weaving equipment, tools, and even the language used.
Class 2 and 3: Each student will weave samples on looms of their choosing.
Class 4: We will end with discussing finishing techniques and uses for your woven piece.
Workshop cost includes use of the different looms, tools, and fibers for each weaver.
